Poria cocos
Poria cocos is a fungus that grows on the roots of pine trees. It has a shape of a potato and can measure up to 30 cm long and weigh up to 1 kg.
This fungus is harvested and dried. It is frequently used in Chinese and Japanese medicine.
The Poria Cocos is known as the "plant of immortality". 10% of Chinese medicinal preparations contain Poria Cocos.
